Your bike opinion is needed. And you will be compensated.

A research company in the United Kingdom contacted River City Cyclist to try to help them find American cyclists that would be willing to provide their opinions on high performance bikes. Suzy works at Prescient, and their client is a bike manufacturer (undisclosed at this time). They are seeking our opinions to help develop the next greatest bike (OK, maybe that’s my interpretation, but they are working with high performance bikes, so it has to be cool).

As part of the research, you’ll have access online to professional riders and mechanics. If you qualify, this sounds like a great opportunity to get a sneak-peek at the future of biking. Please notify RCC if you get selected. We want to know more from you when the research is completed.

The catch is you have to sign up by midnight on Thursday, Dec. 3. You have less than 2 days.

Here’s a rundown of the details:

  • They are looking for 23 male and 5 female American cyclists between the ages of 25 and 46
  • Also looking for 6 Canadians (if you know any)
  • Have been cycling for more than 3 years and spent $2,500 on your bike
  • Able to log on to a Web site daily between Dec. 7 and Dec. 18
  • Be willing to post opinions and answer questions relating to performance bikes
  • Have access to a digital camera and have the ability to upload a short video of you and your bike to the site
  • BONUS: get paid $150 for your time

To be considered for this opportunity, Suzy provided a few questions she’d like you to answer. With your answers, copy and paste them into an e-mail and send to: suzanne (dot) xavier007 (at) googlemail (dot) com
