This is the post I will be updating with photos during my ride and probably short video clips. All of this to be done from the MyTouch 3G. I will use this post hopefully to do updates on my thought and experiences but you know how technology can be at times.
I will likely be updating via Facebook and Twitter also. We shall see how it goes. I will post this once to the twitter, and facebook accounts but it will not re-post on each update. If you want to follow along add me on as a friend on facebook or just visit this page frequently for updates.
A few thoughts before I set out on this epic journey of newly found endurance and stamina. I have been cycling only a little over a year since overcoming a huge weight obstacle in the progress. I have made a few milestones this year, one obviously being the weight loss. Two, I completed my very first official run. (Wichita Half Marathon) And now the biggest event to my name thus far, Biking Across Kansas 2010.
I have mixed feelings about the ride, obviously I am super exited about the ride and am not worried about my conditioning or the ride itself. I am concerned how much I will be missing my family which I love very, VERY much. Thankfully with today’s technology I can talk to them often as well as share pictures and video back an forth but nothing compares to the real thing.
Stay tuned for updates to follow below.
Ok looks like that didn’t work out so good, I will make a post for each day.

I actually was on the beginners ride you organized along the river and had a blast. What is your twitter handle? Wish you the best.
