No not really but a few friends and I have decided to launch a new small bicycle club in Wichita focused on a weekly meet and eat at local restaurant, details to follow. We will also be trying to help kids who want to join setup with bikes and help them customize them to their liking etc. Details are probably a few weeks away but I just want to get people aware of the new club.
Everyone is welcome to join this is not designed to cause riffs or actual rivalries of the best club in town “Coasters”

I was excited for today I got a hold of what I now believe to be a 59′ Schwinn Jaguar. Scored it off of craigslist and got to dress it up for the Parades. Christmas theme of course, tis the season. Had my family help me out with the bike while I was at work but I of course came home only to think for some reason I needed more crap hanging off the bike !! :0 It was a bit chilly but I was so stoked to get to ride with Coasters Bicycle Club. We rode the Delano Christmas Parade it was fun lots of people were there to watch and no lack of children. It was fun to get out and do something in the community. I took more pictures at the parade but looks like I deleted them while my phone was in my pocket!! Some pictures of the Bikes For Tots also included.

KanBikeWalk Annual Meeting 2009
Please join us for the KanBikeWalk 2nd Annual Meeting.
KanBikeWalk is a non-profit, statewide organization whose mission is to promote a safe bicycling and walking environment for Kansans through education and advocacy.
KanBikeWalk’s members are working to become Kansas’ center for bicycle and pedestrian issues and advocacy with the goal of making Kansas a premier bicycling and walking state through improved safety/education programs and infrastructure improvements at the local, state and federal level.
As a 100% volunteer organization, KanBikeWalk is reaching out to you as a member of the bicycle and walking community. We all walk and bicycle for transportation, recreation, tourism, sport and/or exercise. We need your help to make Kansas a safer, friendly state to bicycle and walk in. Please join us!

Please join us for a Pre-Meeting Bicycle Ride (weather permitting) through Wichita. Start time will be 10:00 a.m., with a route taking us on the Wichita bike paths along the Arkansas River, approximately 15 miles at an easy and comfortable pace.
