The time is going to be tentatively at 4pm. This may change (not likely) and if it does I will edit this post to reflect so. All riders are responsible for their own safety, hydration. I will bring tubes and tools for minor adjustments needed prior to the ride. Everyone is welcome to ride it will be fairly short for those of us used to riding longer distances but we can ride farther after the main run if people want to. I am wanting to encourage new riders to join us, this will not be a race atmosphere and all types of bikes are welcome. We will meet at the Exploration Place parking lot prior to 4pm so we can begin the ride at for and most likely be done well before 5:30 depending on how many stops we make. We will stop to accommodate anyone who is in need of a break. This ride is about promoting cycling, riding with a group, and enjoying a day outside! Below is the route and a few details added to the map.
You will want to bring something to snack on if you haven’t had dinner and I strongly suggest bringing some sort of hydration.
Feel free to add me over on Facebook as well or Twitter
How ever most of the snow was already gone. I did get out and ride that day we had that near blizzard but unfortunately my camera recorded nothing. This time out I mounted my camera a little different and think that’s the last time I will do that. I am too busy gawking off into nowhere. Cutting through the grass over the bridge cost me a flat and luckily Kevin had a shot of c02 and it was just enough to get me home !! I apologize for lack of content but my little one is keeping me pretty busy. I have some more content coming soon of a few project I have worked on this winter. Nothing major but soon as I get a nice day I’m going to take some pictures of my bikes and some I have kinda put together. Don’t get all excited it’s nothing fancy, well one of them is a really nice vintage Schwinn
I was excited for today I got a hold of what I now believe to be a 59′ Schwinn Jaguar. Scored it off of craigslist and got to dress it up for the Parades. Christmas theme of course, tis the season. Had my family help me out with the bike while I was at work but I of course came home only to think for some reason I needed more crap hanging off the bike !! :0 It was a bit chilly but I was so stoked to get to ride with Coasters Bicycle Club. We rode the Delano Christmas Parade it was fun lots of people were there to watch and no lack of children. It was fun to get out and do something in the community. I took more pictures at the parade but looks like I deleted them while my phone was in my pocket!! Some pictures of the Bikes For Tots also included.
